KidShip Sailing School is a children-only sailing instruction program geared for young sailors-to-be ages 5 to 15 years old. Since its founding in 1987, KidShip has taught over 7000 young sailors the ropes on the Chesapeake Bay.

KidShip’s proven approach blends hands-on instruction both on land and in small, responsive boats on the water. By adding lots of fun, we can ensure an enjoyable and instructive experience with SUCCESS for ALL AGES of young sailors. We limit the size of each KidShip class in order to offer each KidShipper a lot of personalized instruction. KidShip’s courses offer the same curriculum as the traditional “adult” programs of the Annapolis Sailing School, but are full of extra fun for kids.

PARENTS BEWARE ... we will make enthusiastic, competent sailors out of your kids, so be prepared for the consequences! KidShip offers sailing courses in two-, three-, and five-day programs that allow kids to learn the importance of water safety, build confidence, make new friends, and enjoy the fun of sailing.
